Water For People Presents Adam Conner with Robert W. Hite Award
Congratulations to Adam Conner, who was awarded the Robert W. Hite Award from Water For People, on Aug. 26. This award recognizes a person who has demonstrated active leadership to benefit others and supports Water For People’s mission – someone who inspires a shared vision, is forward-thinking and truly envisions a world where all people have access to safe water and sanitation facilities.
Adam has been volunteering for Water for People since 2009 and anchors the fundraising efforts for the organization in Texas. Julie Nahrgang, Executive Director of the Water Environment Association of Texas, said, “I don’t think of the Water for People effort in Texas without thinking of Adam Conner!”
Eleanor Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Water for People, was on hand to announce Adam as this year’s award recipient. Freese and Nichols employees David Jackson, Trey Shanks and Jason Cocklin joined the virtual surprise ceremony to congratulate Adam and thank him for his hard work, contribution to this vital charity and leadership and representation of our Freese and Nichols LEADS values.
Adam will be further recognized for this award at the Presidential Award Ceremony at the Water Environment Federation WEFTEC conference on October 19 in Chicago.
