Viraj deSilva, who specializes in water/wastewater treatment, discussed careers in water during a video interview for the Water Environment Federation‘s “WEF Water Stories.” The interview was recorded at this year’s WEFTEC, the organization’s annual conference, where Viraj was a session presenter and moderator and was named the Chair of the PFAS Task Force.
Viraj deSilva was appointed Chair of the WEF PFAS Task Force, a group that has sponsored workshops, shared educational resources, and worked closely with other agencies and organizations such as the EPA, AWWA, SWANA, SAME, AMTA, and NACWA to help lead and promote information about PFAS.
