Shad Comeaux Graduates From Leadership Pearland

Account Director Shad Comeaux, AICP, graduated from Leadership Pearland on June 15, completing a nine-month program aimed at identifying and developing talented and committed citizens who aspire to provide leadership in Pearland’s business and community activities.

The program teaches participants about Pearland’s governmental, educational, economic and cultural organizations and encourages future leaders to explore options for personal involvement and relationship building. As a next step, Leadership Pearland will facilitate appointments of graduates into leadership roles within the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations. Shad’s goal is to serve on Pearland’s Planning and Zoning Commission in the next few years.

Graduation for the Leadership Pearland 2023 class took place at the Pearland Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Membership Luncheon. Guest speaker was Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, founder and owner of Gallery Furniture in Houston and a community personality whose philanthropy has included opening his stores to provide shelter for residents affected by Hurricane Harvey and Winter Storm Uri.

Shad is a Freese and Nichols Principal and planner who has worked with cities and universities across Texas on master plans and revitalization projects.
