Matt Giglio Named TSPE Fort Worth Young Engineer of the Year
Congratulations to Matt Giglio, Stormwater Engineering, Fort Worth, who has been named 2021 Young Engineer of the Year by the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE Fort Worth).
Matt’s involvement in TSPE began immediately after starting at Freese and Nichols when he asked after one of his first meetings how he could be more active with the chapter. Matt has since served as: Director of Education (2018-19), Scholarship Committee Member since 2018, and is currently serving as the chapter’s Treasurer.
Additionally, Matt has served as a volunteer at several other community events, including the Armed Forces Bowl (2018, 2020) and the Trinity River Trash Bash (2018, 2019), and as a presenter at the O.D. Wyatt High School C.E. Club (2019). He has also volunteered for MathCounts through TSPE Fort Worth (2018-2020).
Matt was recognized as Young Engineer of the Year at the chapter event held on Feb. 25.
