HEC-RAS Version 5.0.2 Released, Now Temporarily Withdrawn

UPDATE: The USACE posted the following update on their website, regarding HEC-RAS Version 5.0.2 – “We’ve temporarily taken down HEC-RAS 5.0.2 to investigate a critical bug with simplified physical breaching computations. We will be releasing a 5.0.3 soon to fix this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause. If you need to download HEC-RAS in the meantime please use the 5.0.1 download links available in the archived versions section below.”

Original Post: The USACE has released a new version of HEC-RAS that supersedes Version 5.0.1, and it includes several new features in RAS Mapper, culvert input/ outlet control, and lateral structures connecting to 2-D flow areas. HEC-RAS 5.0.2 can be downloaded from the link below. Be sure to check out the “What’s New” section for a more comprehensive list and description of what has been updated since Version 5.0.1.
