Geoscientist Sheri Larson Expands Freese and Nichols’ Site Assessment and Remediation Services
Freese and Nichols continues to expand its environmental services with the addition of Sheri Larson, PG, a Senior Project Manager with broad expertise in site assessment and remediation for public and private entities.
Sheri’s more than 20 years of experience include leading multidiscipline teams and providing technical knowledge to help clients meet regulatory requirements and clean up properties to prepare them for development or redevelopment.
She has led projects for clients across Texas, including state agencies, local governments and private industry. Her technical expertise includes multimedia subsurface investigations, due diligence and property development, compliance, auditing, permitting and regulatory analysis of emerging issues.
Sheri brings to the Environmental Science and Coastal team her deep knowledge of the complexities of Texas’ regulatory landscape. She is well-versed in interpreting and applying the rules under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Texas Risk Reduction Program. And she has led projects under contracts with the three major TCEQ remediation programs: Dry Cleaner Remediation, Leaking Petroleum Storage Tanks and Superfund.

Sheri is certified as a Professional Geoscientist in Texas and Louisiana. She received her bachelor’s degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin.
