Freese and Nichols Expands Oklahoma Team With Project Manager Cort Westphal
Freese and Nichols has added Cort Westphal, PE, to our Transportation team as a project manager in Oklahoma.
Cort has more than 12 years of experience managing and designing transportation projects for numerous clients including the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, Oklahoma City, Norman, Moore, Lawton and Midwest City. His extensive transportation expertise in street reconstruction and rehabilitation projects, accessible pedestrian facilities, and stormwater drainage solutions coupled with his effective project management skills brings additional resources and depth to the Freese and Nichols Oklahoma team.
“Cort’s expertise and broad skills will help us continue to expand our transportation practice in Oklahoma,” Oklahoma Division Manager Tricia Hatley said. “And he has deep Oklahoma roots, which gives him a good understanding of the transportation needs in the communities we serve.”
Cort received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He is actively engaged in professional organization service as vice chair of the American Public Works Association – Central Oklahoma Branch and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
