Freese and Nichols Adds Daniel Hammond to Lead Florida Environmental and Water Resource Projects
Freese and Nichols, Inc., has hired Daniel Hammond, a water resource specialist, to expand our environmental services to communities across Florida.
Dan brings more than 20 years of experience working with public and private sector clients in Florida and across the United States to meet their environmental and water resource improvement goals. He will help Freese and Nichols’ growing Florida team expand the company’s already diversified environmental services to communities and clients across the state.
He has led numerous projects involving water resource management, regulatory permitting and compliance, habitat restoration, and marine and freshwater ecological evaluation. He has extensive experience assisting stakeholders develop and implement water resource protection programs and in navigating regulatory compliance.
“Dan’s background and technical knowledge will allow us to help communities with a wide range of environmental restoration and improvements to protect their water quality,” said Jimmy Gibson, Freese and Nichols’ Environmental Services Practice Leader. “While his focus is currently on Florida, he’ll be able to support our environmental services teams across all the regions we serve.”
Dan received a master’s in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
