Freese and Nichols Adds Ardita Dushi to Lead Federal Team
Freese and Nichols has added Ardita Dushi, PE, MAPM, to our federal team as a Federal Program Manager to help us assist federal agencies in the heavy civil water resources line. She brings diverse flood mitigation project and federal agency experience, adding unique management and technical perspectives to the firm’s federal project teams that are currently providing services for federal agencies in several regions across the United States.
Ardita has more than 16 years of experience in project management, client management and geotechnical engineering for public/federal projects and clients in Texas and throughout the U.S. She has led the project development life cycle from proposal development through project planning, execution and delivery. Ardita worked closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as an extension of their staff for the Sabine to Galveston Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management Program.
Ardita is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds the International Project Management Qualification with APM. She is active in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), where she is serving on the SAME Fort Worth Post as president-elect. She also served as president for the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Dallas Chapter in 2020-2021.
Ardita was awarded the Young Member of the Year for SAME Fort Worth Post in 2017 and 2018, the Young Engineer of the Year for TSPE Dallas Chapter in 2015 and State Young Engineer of the Year for TSPE in 2015. She received her master’s degree from Louisiana State University and her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bosphorus University.
