Austin Creek Cleanup
Anyone need a flip flop, car bumper, or a purse? These are just a few things pulled out of the Upper Bull Creek Greenbelt last Saturday.
Freese and Nichols staff and members of their families volunteered for a creek clean up event near St. Edward’s Park where the Austin office “adopted” a half mile section of creek through the Keep Austin Beautiful program.
The event was a success with more than a truckload of large and small litter removed from the creek and the surrounding areas that drain to it. The group was dedicated to improving this natural space even though the thick vegetation made it challenging.
