Want your water project to be included in the initial Project Priority List for Texas’ SFY2022 State Revolving Fund? Freese and Nichols can assist you in submitting your project information for the upcoming Intended Use Plans deadline. Note the date: A completed Project Information Form must be received by midnight CST on March 3.

Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program: 
Assists communities with low-cost financing for a wide range of wastewater, stormwater, reuse and other pollution control projects.

Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program:
Assists communities with low-cost financing for a wide range of water projects that facilitate compliance with drinking water standards.

CWSRF and DWSRF offer the following benefits to eligible applicants’ projects:

  • Below-market fixed interest rates (percentage off the rate associated with a borrower’s underlying credit rating)
  • Principal forgiveness for qualifying disadvantaged, small/rural disadvantaged, green, very small systems and urgent-need projects (generally allocated to projects on the initial Project Priority List each year)
  • Up to a 30-year repayment period
