Project Engineer Allison Blake, Water Purification and Resource Recovery, provides tips for succeeding in the engineering profession in American Infrastructure magazine’s January/February issue.
“Working on water and wastewater treatment plant design and construction projects taught me quickly what kinds of skills are required to succeed in a highly technical field,” she writes. “The engineering knowledge is essential, but principles like ownership and communication are just as important.”
Her advice in “Empowerment for Success” includes:
