Description: FEMA makes federal funds available through the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program to state, local, Tribal and territorial governments to reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings insured under the National Flood Insurance Program. Recipients are chosen based on the applicant’s ranking of the project and the eligibility and cost-effectiveness of the project.

During this session, we will highlight items from the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), and you will learn about eligibility for the program and how to use this funding opportunity to protect your infrastructure from flooding disasters.
